Welcome to CaddiePress ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. CaddiePress is a service operated by Matthew Lang.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CaddiePress provides tools for creating social media images for golf organisations. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update this information as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or harmful purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any logos, images, or other content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will not use your User Content for any other purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the images generated through the Service using your content and data. CaddiePress retains ownership of the underlying software, templates, and technology used to generate those images. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights in the Service itself to you.

8. Fees and Payment

CaddiePress currently provides a free account for limited use of the Service. Paid subscription plans are in development and will be introduced in due course. We will provide advance notice of any changes to pricing or subscription terms before they take effect.

9. Refunds

Once paid subscriptions are introduced, refund terms will be set out at the time of purchase. Where applicable, your statutory rights under Scottish and UK consumer law remain unaffected.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matthew Lang shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide notice of such changes, such as by sending an email notification, providing notice through the Service, or updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
